Photo collage

Support said one image. You have four site photos. Collage, or a PDF?

The ticket chat will only take a single picture. The leak, the meter, and the cracked panel are three or four shots. Sending them as a stack gets bounced. The decision is whether those shots belong on one image, and whether that image should stay a picture or become a PDF.

Support wrote back: one image only. You have three or four site photos — the leak, the meter, the cracked panel. The chat will not take the pile. A PDF can hold every shot on its own page. That is a different file from the one picture they asked for.

Three contrasts: one collage or send them apart, a collage or a multi-page PDF, one finished image or a file per photo

The next reply is rarely “please collage.” Match what you just tried to send with the single attachment they will actually open.

What you are deciding Do the left first Do not start on the right
One collage, or send the shots separately They said one image. Open Collage Maker and put the site photos on a single canvas. Dropping four files into the chat and hoping the form keeps all of them. Most ticket windows keep the first picture and drop the rest.
A collage, or a multi-page PDF They want one picture they can glance at. A collage is several photos on one image. They need to flip pages, or print each shot full size. That is Image to PDF, covered in the images-to-PDF guide. A long collage is not a multi-page file.
One finished image, or a batch that outputs one file each Collage Maker composes many sources into one download. That is the whole job. Expecting a zip of four edited copies. This tool does not batch-export one result per photo. Keep each source at or under 20MB.

A collage is one finished image: several photos on one page, not a batch that saves a file per shot. Each source at or under 20MB. Need separate pages? Use PDF. Local — nothing is uploaded.

Put the site shots on one page, then send that one file

Open Collage Maker on Image8K. Layout and export stay in this browser. You are building one picture, not a folder of processed copies.

  1. Drop at least two images. JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, each at or under 20MB, up to 30 in one layout. If a shot is still iPhone .heic and the page will not open, follow the HEIC to JPG guide first, then come back.
  2. Sideways photos go upright before they join the page. A collage keeps the orientation you give it. Straighten first with the rotate a sideways scan guide, then collage.
  3. Pick one layout and set the order. A vertical long image if they will scroll a single picture. A grid if they asked for a tidy block — grid cells can crop edges, so keep a crack or a meter reading on a long image when the detail has to stay whole.
  4. Download the single image. If the form still caps KB, follow the compress-to-target-KB guide on that finished file. If the photos may be reposted, stamp the collage itself with Add Watermark — see the photo watermark guide. Do not expect the collage step to emit one watermarked copy per source.
  5. They asked to flip through pages? Stop and follow the images-to-PDF guide. Do not send a long collage and call it a multi-page PDF.

Make one image locally — collage, then send

The one file still gets bounced

The chat says the picture is too heavy: compress the finished collage, not each source as if you were saving four outputs. They want every shot printable at full page: switch to Image to PDF. A phone photo still will not open: convert HEIC first. A panel sits on its side inside the collage: rotate that shot before you compose.

Image8K builds the collage in the browser. Site photos stay on this device. There is no “upload first, stitch later.”

What “just send the photos” usually misses

They asked for one image. Four files are four attachments. A collage is one finished picture — several photos on one page, not a batch that saves one file each. A PDF is the path when they need pages. Each source at or under 20MB. Image8K does it in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.

About collaging site photos into one image

Should I collage the photos, or send them separately?

If support said one image, collage. Three or four separate files usually means the window keeps the first picture and drops the rest.

Is a collage the same as a multi-page PDF?

No. A collage puts several photos on one image. If they need to flip pages, or print each shot full size, use Image to PDF after you decide the collage is the wrong file.

Will the collage give me one edited copy of each photo?

No. It is one layout and one download — not a batch that saves a file per source. Each source image stays at or under 20MB. One collage takes at least 2 images and at most 30.

Are the originals uploaded to a server?

No. Image8K composes the collage in your browser. Site photos stay on this device. There is no “upload first, stitch later.”
