Clear GPS on the home folder, still with no account

A folder from the house can lose its GPS with no account and no usage meter. The sidebar is not a quota.

Thirty photos from the house still carry the street. Image8K strips that folder in the browser, with no account and no usage meter between the first file and the thirtieth.

One strip for the folder

EXIF is for files that share one treatment. Open them, see which ones still hold a location, then strip. One strip clears the whole metadata segment. The camera model leaves with the coordinates. There is no switch for GPS alone. Each image stays at or under 20MB. There is no sign-up wall, and nothing to unlock after file three. The workspace sidebar lists the fifteen tools. It does not add a quota.

What a strip does not do

It does not convert HEIC. A phone folder that is still HEIC should be converted first. That folder, with no account, is the HEIC note. A strip does not shrink the file and does not cover a house number painted in the picture. Covering pixels is one image at a time, on another page. Whether to strip at all is the EXIF guide.

If a form then rejects the weight, compress the cleaned exports. Do not skip the strip because the original was already small.

Nothing is uploaded

The strip stays in this browser. There is no Image8K server holding the home shots. Download the cleaned copies. The originals stay on the device. If one file fails because it is over 20MB, strip that one after you shrink it. Do not open an account to finish the folder.

FAQ

Is there a sign-up after a few photos?

No. Image8K does not ask for an account, and it does not meter the folder.

Can I keep the camera model?

No. One strip clears the whole metadata segment. The camera model leaves with the coordinates.

Does the strip shrink the files?

No. It is not a recompress. Compress later, on the compress tool, if a form still rejects the weight.
