Metadata
Read the folder's camera data, still with no account
Read a folder's camera data with no account and no usage meter. Looking is not stripping.
You want to see what the camera wrote, and you have a folder. Image8K stays free: no account, no usage meter, no checkout halfway through the folder. The list of tools in the sidebar is not a quota.
Read first
Open the metadata on the shots you want to inspect. Batch, each at or under 20MB, in this browser. Looking does not clear the segment. There is nothing to unlock between the first file and the last. What a strip actually removes is the EXIF guide.
What a strip is, when you do mean it
One strip clears the whole metadata segment. The camera model leaves with the GPS. It does not hide a phone number in the pixels, and it does not recompress the file. If the phone files are still HEIC, convert that folder first, still with no account, then read the JPG. Clearing a home folder on purpose is a different pass: clear GPS.
Nothing is uploaded
The folder is read here. Originals on the device are not overwritten by a look, and they are not stored on an Image8K server.
Read, and stay signed out
If you only needed to see the camera data, download nothing and strip nothing. Do not create an account to open the last file.
FAQ
Does opening the viewer remove GPS?
No. Reading is not stripping. Strip only when you mean to clear the segment. One strip removes the camera model along with the location.
Does a strip hide the pixels or shrink the file?
No. The picture stays visible. The file is not recompressed by the strip. Cover a number with mosaic if the pixels themselves show it.
Is there a meter after the first files?
No. Free stays free. The sidebar is not a quota. Each image stays at or under 20MB.
